How to vote

Voting for a Stake pool is a process where users deposit their LP tokens in exchange for having the power to change in which Stake pool will be ADA from a Liquidity pool delegated. Before voting, we highly recommend reading about how voting for Stake pools works.

Adding your vote

Only ADA-to-token Liquidity pools can delegate the ADA to a Stake pool. Navigate to /staking to see either all ADA Pools on WingRiders or ADA pools where you have some liquidity. Each ADA-to-token Liquidity pool will display the Current pool (where is the ADA currently delegated) and My vote (your current vote). You can manage your vote in a Liquidity pool by clicking on the MANAGE VOTE/CHOOSE POOL button.

After entering the voting page for a Liquidity pool, you will see a list of Stake pools where you can cast your vote. You can search Stake pools by their name or hash to see other than default Stake pools.

Select your preferred Stake pool and click on the VOTE button. The modal for managing your vote will open. You can choose how many of your LP tokens you want to deposit - 1 deposited LP token counts as a single vote (see what is your voting power for more details).

After selecting the desired number of LP tokens, click on the VOTE button. The app will let you review your vote and you can confirm it by clicking on the CONFIRM button.

After confirming, a wallet window for signing the transaction will open. You will be asked to sign the transaction (this step is different for each wallet). After you successfully sign the transaction, the app will display the successful modal. You can track the progress of the transaction in the /transactions tab. Your vote will be successfully applied when the transaction is completed.

Changing your preferred Stake pool

When you decide that you would like to change your preferred Stake pool, you can easily do so by clicking on the CHANGE VOTE button next to the new Stake pool:

The application will let you review your change and confirm the new Stake pool.

After clicking on the CONFIRM button, a wallet modal will pop up and ask you to sign the transaction. After you successfully sign the transaction and the transaction is completed, your vote will change.

Applying your vote

If you have already deposited some of your LP tokens in a farm, they are automatically deposited for voting as well, you just need to choose your preferred Stake pool (see how are voting and farming related for more details).

You can apply your vote for a Stake pool by clicking on the APPLY VOTE button. Review your preferred Stake pool and confirm the transaction by clicking on the CONFIRM button.

After confirming, a wallet window will pop up and you will be asked to sign the transaction. After the transaction is successfully signed and completed, your vote will be applied.
